Hello all,

If you are working with locations with same id(like customer 1001, plant 1001, vendor 1001, etc..) and when you CIF these from ERP to EWM, you get an error like;

Location XXXX of type 1003 (BSG XXXX) already exists in APO

Message no. /SAPAPO/LOM060

This means your CIF integration model failed to create locations.

Solution;

Follow this navigation: SCM Basis>>Integration>>BAdIs for Specific Applications>>Location and Business Partner>>BAdI: Inbound Processing for Location.

Choose one of these BAdIs for your case:

APOCF001_SYSDIFIdentical location numbers from different systems
APOCF001_TYPEDIFLocations of different type with similar names
APOCF001_TYPESYSDIFIdentical location nos of different types from diff. systems

After succcessful implementation, your locations are created with an addition to seperate their ids.

Example:

Untitled.png

You get 'PL' addition for all plants, 'SP' addition for all shipping points, 'CU' addition for all customers, etc.. You can check EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_LOC_001 for more information.

Note: There isn't any OSS Note for this(please share if you find, i could not find any).

How to Configure warehouse BillingAttached herewith the configuration guide for warehouse Billing
Configuration Guide for Advanced Production IntegrationYou can use this business scenario to tightly integrate warehouse execution with manufacturing operations using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) and SAP ERP. When large quantities are produced and the execution of a manufacturing order stretches for several hours, you stage components pallet-wise (handling unit after handing unit) from the warehouse to production supply areas as they are required for manufacturing operations, and consume them pallet-wise or piece by piece from the production supply area. You receive finished or semi-finished goods pallet-wise and put them away as they arrive on a conveyor line from production into the warehouse
Basic Integrated Quality Inspection Process Using SAP Extended Warehouse Management and Quality Management in SAP ERPThis how-to guide describes the basic setup of an integrated quality inspection process using SAP EWM and the QM component of SAP ERP.
